About Me
Hi, I’m Kristina — an unapologetic lover of love.
Whether it’s a heart-pounding romance, a sweeping romantasy, or a twisty mystery, I’m the kind of reader who disappears into a story and doesn’t come up for air until the last page.

My journey began over 15 years ago at Borders (remember Borders?!). That’s where I discovered Suzanne Brockmann’s Troubleshooters Inc. series — still my all-time favorite — and the spark that launched my lifelong love of fast-paced, emotionally rich fiction.
As a reader, I crave momentum. I’ll follow character depth or action intensity anywhere… as long as the story moves. But the fastest way to break the magic? Unnatural dialogue. Nothing pulls me out quicker.
That instinct — to know what pulls a reader in and what pushes them out — was the first hint that editing was calling my name.
From Avid Reader to Professional Editor
For years, I served as an alpha, beta, and ARC reader for indie authors. But I soon realized my feedback wasn’t just about personal reactions. I was identifying plot gaps, pacing problems, character inconsistencies — things that could truly help authors strengthen their manuscripts long before publication.
The real turning point came when multiple authors said the same thing:
“You caught details my editor missed.”
That’s when it hit me: this wasn’t just enthusiasm. This was a skill set. So I pursued professional training, earning my Book Editor Certification from IAP Career College, backed by years of hands-on experience. (And yes, my Bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies taught me to be obsessively precise — very helpful in editing!)
My Editing Philosophy:
Your Art, Brought to Life
I know one of the biggest fears authors have is being told their story isn’t “good enough” or “marketable.”
Let me say this clearly:

My job is not to tear your book apart. My job is to elevate it.
I’m your partner in this process — someone who wants your voice to shine, your characters to breathe, and your story to become the best version of itself. My approach is grounded in three core principles:
Honest: Clear, compassionate, constructive feedback.
Detailed: A meticulous eye for the small-but-important things.
Communicative: Constant support, clarity, and collaboration.
My favorite moment of the entire editing process?
Hearing the excitement in an author’s voice after reviewing my notes.
When I’m Not Editing…
I’m usually spending time with my family — we always have something on the calendar, whether it’s an event, a show, or a game.

And when it’s time to unwind, I’m probably deep into a true-crime documentary or binge-watching (admittedly) way too much reality TV.
Ready to make your story shine?
I’d be honored to help bring your vision to life.
